As a Manufacturing Software Consultant at Red Business Systems, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support, consultancy, and sales services related to Sage 50 Accounts and Cim50 and Manufacturing Software.
Your responsibilities will include managing the support desk, assisting customers in optimising the software’s capabilities, providing training and consultancy from inception to go-live, and driving the sales cycle from lead generation to successful closure. A strong background in Sage and Cim50 with Crystal, SQL, and IT network skills is essential. A proven track record in similar roles is expected.
Key responsibilities:
1. Customer Support:
- Manage the support desk to promptly address and resolve customer queries and issues related to Sage 50 and Cim50 software.
- Work closely with customers to ensure they receive the best possible support and are maximizing the benefits of the software.
2. Consultancy Services:
- Provide expert advice and consultancy to customers on utilizing Sage 50 and Cim50 to address their specific accounting and manufacturing needs.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and customize the software to suit their unique workflows.
3. Implementation Management:
- Oversee the entire implementation process, starting from project planning to successful execution and Go-live.
- Conduct software installations, configurations, and data migration as needed, ensuring a smooth transition for clients
4. Training Delivery:
- Develop and deliver training programs tailored to customer needs, focusing on efficient usage of Sage 50 and Cim50 software functionalities.
- Empower clients to become proficient in handling the software and adopting best practices.
5. Sales Cycle Management:
- Engage in lead generation and prospecting activities to identify potential clients interested in Sage 50 and Cim50 solutions.
- Conduct software demonstrations to showcase the software’s features and benefits to prospective customers.
- Manage the sales cycle, from initial contact through negotiations to closing deals.
6. Additional Responsibilities:
- Act as a key point of contact and liaison with third-party suppliers, including Sage, CIM-software, Referral Partners, and Support Partners.
- Collaborate with these suppliers to address any integration issues, software updates, and other related matters to ensure a seamless experience for customers.

- This is a home-based role, offering the flexibility to work remotely. The ability to work unsupervised and manage your own workload efficiently is essential to excel in this position.

- Working hours for this position are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. However, flexibility to work outside of these hours is a prerequisite, ensuring timely support to customers, to minimise customer down time and to meet project deadlines.
